Apple-Ericsson 5G Overseas Clash Adds Twist to Texas Patent Suit

Apple Inc. will argue to a Texas federal judge Thursday that it’s entitled to payments from Ericsson Inc. after the Swedish telecom giant secured an iPhone sales injunction abroad.

Apple wants the court to order Ericsson to “indemnify” it for any costs incurred after a Colombian judge earlier this month blocked 4G and 5G iPhone sales in the country.
