Ericsson Told to Detail ‘Secret’ Foreign Lawsuits in Apple Fight

Ericsson Inc. must spill details about its alleged campaign to disrupt a December trial over 4G and 5G standard-essential patent licensing rates, East Texas federal district Judge Rodney Gilstrap ordered Monday, after Apple Inc. accused Ericsson of filing “secret” lawsuits abroad that resulted in a foreign injunction.

Ericsson was ordered to brief the court by Friday on its alleged litigation activity in a Bogota court, which on Thursday ordered Apple to stop selling products that rely on to a 5G standard-essential patent owned by Ericsson.
