Southwest Airlines Co. and the online travel booking website Kiwi.com Inc. settled a trademark infringement lawsuit alleging Kiwi used Southwest trademarks, sold its tickets, and scraped its data without permission, according to a Texas federal court.
Kiwi agreed to not oppose a permanent injunction preventing it from harvesting data and publishing Southwest’s flight and pricing information, according to a motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Southwest also asked the court to enter a final judgment.
