Entropic, Comcast Agree to End Cable Patent Infringement Suit

Entropic Communications LLC and Comcast Corp. decided to close litigation claiming Comcast’s equipment violates two technological patents.

The parties moved to dismiss the case with prejudice Monday in the US District Court for the Central District of California, based on their settlement a week prior. Entropic sued Comcast in November 2025, alleging the cable service provider had infringed patents 10,135,682 and 9,866,438 since at least 2023.
