Audacy Settles Copyright Suits Over Unauthorized Media Use

Radio and media company Audacy New York LLC reached settlements in a pair of copyright infringement lawsuits over the company’s use of images without their owners’ consent, according to federal court documents.

Judge Denise Cote issued identical dismissal orders in cases brought by Lynk Media LLC and photographer Kevin C. Downs, stating that both disputes were “discontinued without costs to any party and without prejudice,” according to the filings in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
