Apple Moves to Transfer Fintiv Trade Secrets Lawsuit to Texas

Apple Inc. asked a judge to transfer an intellectual property lawsuit against it to a Texas court that Big Tech companies have historically fought to escape.

The iPhone maker on Monday asked an Atlanta federal court to send Fintiv Inc.'s digital payment trade secrets suit to Judge Alan Albright’s courtroom in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas. Fintiv’s August trade secrets complaint accused Apple of “corporate theft and racketeering of monumental proportions” related to Apple Pay.
