Vizient Inc. prevailed in an antitrust case alleging it monopolized the market for selling and distributing disposable medical products to hospitals.
Judge Brantley Starr of the US District for the Northern District of Texas in a Wednesday order granted Vizient’s motion for summary judgment, saying plaintiff Endure Industries Inc. failed to define a relevant market. The case is one of several recent antitrust suits that hasn’t survived due to a failure to properly define a market, a threshold requirement.
