Visa Inc. is being sued by a shareholder to disclose details about its services to companies that are accused of providing child pornography.
The shareholder, Operating Engineers Construction Industry, brought the litigation on Thursday in the Delaware Chancery Court. The shareholder seeks books and records to investigate the “disinterestedness” of Visa’s board over its business with companies that could be involved in child pornography, the lawsuit said.
