Under Armour Investors Get OK to Boost Lawsuit With New Evidence

Under Armour Inc. investors will get a chance to add new evidence to a lawsuit accusing the company of misleading them about product demand, after the Fourth Circuit ordered a limited remand Thursday.

News that the Securities and Exchange Commission was investigating the sportswear brand’s alleged practice of shifting sales from one quarter to the next broke in November 2019.

The investors, who first sued in 2017 and twice saw their case dismissed, asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit to send their suit back after a district judge indicated he’d vacate the most recent dismissal ...
