Under Armour Inc. investors could get another chance to prove that the company misled them after a Maryland federal district judge, who twice dismissed their suit, indicated he’d let them add new evidence if the Fourth Circuit sent the case back.
Investors accused the sportswear brand of misleading them about demand for its products in 2017 but couldn’t convince the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland to let their would-be class claims move forward. They urged the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit to revive their suit in September 2019.
