Tyson Workers Lose Virus Safety Case in Texas Federal Court

A Texas federal judge denied a group of Tyson Foods Inc workers’ motion to remand their case against the meatpacking firm over pandemic safety to state court and dismissed the action.

The latest ruling comes as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit weighs whether two coronavirus wrongful death cases filed against Tyson Foods belong in federal or state court.
