The May 24 complaint is the latest filed over onboard attractions that include zip-lines, water parks, and other amenities that can cause injury. Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., for example, was sued in April by a passenger injured in a simulated surfing attraction.
Cruise lines typically argue that passengers assume the the risks of such attractions and that those risks are open and obvious to participants.
