Macy’s $10.5 Million Deal Gets Nod in Sheet Thread-Count Suit

Macy’s Inc. and consumers who alleged the retailer overstated the thread count of certain sheets secured a federal judge’s first approval for a $10.5 million nationwide class settlement.

The deal, tentatively approved Monday by Judge Douglas R. Cole of the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, provides up to $7.50 per item bought for those with purchase substantiation.
