Kos Protein Powder ‘Wellness’ Claims Belied by PFAS, Suit Says

Kos Inc. misleadingly touts plant-based protein powders as “wellness” products despite the presence of PFAS, a new proposed class suit alleges.

Catherine Barnes and Elizabeth Menkowitz sued Kos in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, challenging labels saying the powders are “wellness” and “superfood” products that are “nature-powered” and “organic.”

Their suit joins a growing number of lawsuits over PFAS in various consumer products.
