Champion Petfoods USA Inc. fended off another purported class-action lawsuit alleging it deceptively marketed its Orijen and Acana dog foods in Minnesota federal court Tuesday.
Pet owners have brought several similar lawsuits against Champion for making allegedly misleading statements on the packaging of its premium pet foods. Champion defeated one suit in Wisconsin federal court in July, and class certification was denied by the Ninth Circuit in a related California suit earlier this month.
