Supply Network Inc. and a former Illinois employee reached a binding settlement agreement to resolve state biometric privacy claims over use of a time clock that collected staff members’ fingerprint and hand-geometry data without their consent, court records showed.
Supply Network, which does business as Viking SupplyNet, will submit a draft settlement agreement to former delivery driver Jeffrey Schwartz by March 14, according to a Tuesday entry in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois docket.
