Some current and former students who sued Saint Joseph’s College of Maine over failing to protect their personal information from a cyberattack are taking their proposed class actions to state court.
Four of the plaintiffs had sought to consolidate their petitions with a case filed in the US District Court for the District of Maine. The plaintiff in that case, Monika Lavigne, sought to voluntarily dismiss her suit, as did two others, including Brynne Lander.
