St. Joseph’s College of Maine Hit With Class Data Breach Suit

Saint Joseph’s College of Maine is facing a class suit alleging that sensitive personal information of over 126,000 current and former students was stolen in a data breach.

Brynne Lander, a former student, alleged that between Dec. 15, 2023 and Jan. 24, 2024, hackers gained unauthorized access to Saint Joseph’s computer network and stole data including names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, passport information, financial account information, medical records, and health insurance information.
