Ring’s Bid to Pause Camera Privacy Suit Faces Skeptical Judge

Amazon.com Inc.‘s Ring unit failed to convince a California federal judge to pause a lawsuit claiming its home security cameras invaded people’s privacy.

Ring isn’t likely to succeed in its bid to resolve all of the privacy claims out of court, according to a Sept. 3 order from U.S. District Judge Michael Fitzgerald rejecting the company’s request for a pause.
