Plaintiffs dropped a proposed class action against Paychex Inc. that had accused the human services provider of exposing the sensitive information of thousands of people it handled for businesses and employers in an April data breach.
Natalie Stevenson, the lead plaintiff behind the original complaint, issued a notice of voluntary dismissal Thursday, about a month after her July 11 complaint, according to a filing in the US District Court for the Western District of New York.
