Mandiant Inc., the publicly traded successor to cybersecurity company FireEye Inc., has a new law department leader months after agreeing to split its business.
Alexa King, who spent nearly a decade building out and running the law department at FireEye, switched to a strategic advisory role at the Milpitas, Calif.-based company as of Nov. 1, according to a securities filing last month. Richard Meamber, senior vice president of legal and deputy general counsel at FireEye, has succeeded her as Mandiant’s interim general counsel.
