A $625,000 settlement to resolve poor data security allegations against FabFitFun Inc. should undergo final approval, the plaintiffs in an ongoing lawsuit argued in California federal court.
The settlement is fair and will curtail the risks and expenses associated with future litigation, according to the plaintiffs’ motion for final approval of the class action settlement filed Sept. 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Attorneys representing FabFitFun didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
