Comcast Hit with Pair of Class Actions Over October Data Breach

Comcast Corp. was hit with a pair of putative class actions on Tuesday alleging the company failed to properly secure valuable personally identifiable information of customers.

The pair of suits, both filed in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, claim Comcast was negligent in protecting consumers’ data and exposed them and similarly situated plaintiffs to a lifetime of potential identity theft.
