Comcast’s Xfinity said hackers may have accessed usernames and hashed passwords of some customers.
- Other information may also have been included, such as names, contact information, last four digits of social security numbers, dates of birth and/or secret questions and answers, Xfinity said in a statement
- Xfinity is requiring customers to reset their passwords to protect affected accounts after detecting unauthorized access to its internal systems Oct. 16 to Oct. 19.
- The company’s data analysis is continuing
