A federal judge approved Christie’s Inc.'s proposed settlement with a class of customers whose personal information was allegedly exposed following a May ransomware attack.
Judge Jesse M. Furman signed off on the agreement Wednesday, but cut a clause that would’ve paused any related cases brought by class members pending the settlement’s final approval, according to an order issued Wednesday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. No such cases presently exist, according to the order.
