A proposed class action stemming from an ADT LLC employees’ use of his access privileges to spy on security system clients in their homes must go back to a federal court in Texas, the Fifth Circuit ruled.
ADT—a non-Texas corporate citizen—is a primary defendant under the Class Action Fairness Act, which required the federal court to retain jurisdiction, the appeals court said.
