An ADT Inc. employee allegedly eavesdropped on hundreds of customers and children over a seven-year period through a home protection app, according to lawsuits that fault the company for poor oversight.
Two plaintiffs have made common law privacy and contract claims, and one of them has alleged a violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, in separate lawsuits filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
