7-Eleven Sued Again For Collecting Customers’ Biometric Data

7-Eleven Inc. was sued Friday by Illinois customers who claim that the convenience chain uses in-store cameras with facial recognition technology to collect and store their biometric data without their consent.

This is the second proposed class action suit that has been filed against 7-Eleven over its biometrics collection. The first was filed on April 25.
