Goldman CEO Backs Epstein-Linked GC
Goldman Sachs chief David Solomon is standing by the bank’s general counsel, Kathy Ruemmler, amid revelations about her interactions with Jeffrey Epstein.
“She’s an excellent lawyer, and the organization relies on her guidance every single day,” Solomontold CNBC yesterday, when asked if he expected fallout.
Solomon’s comments follow speculation after emails between her and Epstein were released. Similar disclosures have damaged the reputations of other figures in recent days, including Larry Summers, who resigned from OpenAI on Wednesday.
