Walgreens’ $950,000 Deal to Settle Wage Suit Rejected in Court

Walgreen Co. and a pair of workers can’t move forward with their $950,000 settlement to end their proposed class action over wage violations, a federal judge said.

Two Walgreens employees, seeking to represent nearly 12,500 class members, alleged the company violated California wage laws by requiring workers to purchase company uniforms without compensating them.
