United Airlines Inc. must face a Catholic pilot’s proposed class action claiming the company had a policy to coerce religious employees opposed to the Covid-19 vaccine to get vaccinated.
Alvin Reinauer’s allegations that he was placed on an indefinite hold without pay, until he “succumbed to the pressure” and received the Covid-19 vaccine, are enough to proceed at this stage, Judge Virginia M. Kendall of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois said Thursday.
