United Hit With Religious Bias Suit Over Covid Vaccine Mandate

United Airlines, Inc., is facing allegations that it violated Title VII when it failed to accommodate employees seeking an exemption from its Covid-19 vaccine mandate because of their religious beliefs.

The company “refused to provide any reasonable accommodations” to its vaccine mandate even if they requested an exemption based on religious beliefs or medical conditions, the proposed class action alleges. The suit, filed in the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida, asserts claims under Title VII for religious discrimination and retaliation.
