Teacher preparation funds the Trump administration froze citing “illegal DEI” must flow, a federal judge said, granting a temporary restraining order to a coalition of Democratic state attorneys general.
The Department of Education terminated grants meant to stem teacher shortages without explaining why each grant was terminated, in violation of the Administrative Procedures Act, Judge Myong J. Joun wrote in a Monday order in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
