Texas Sues Lola Olivia Over Chest Binder Safety Assurances

Lola Olivia Inc., a youth undergarment company, wrongly labels its chest binders as safe and effective despite the potential for permanent physical harm, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) said in a new lawsuit.

The online retailer based in New York is flouting federal warnings that devices used to flatten breasts cause compromised lung function and difficulty breastfeeding, the lawsuit said, citing a warning from the Department of Health and Human Services.
