Texas Law Firm, Former Executive Settle Wrongful Firing Lawsuit

Roberts Markel Weinberg Butler Hailey PC settled claims brought by a former executive that he was fired for refusing to falsify the basis for a woman’s visa application at the request of the firm’s managing shareholder.

Judge David Hittner of the US District Court for the Southern District of Texas dismissed the case in an Aug. 8 order after withdrawing his June summary judgment ruling in favor of the firm.
