Tesla Seeks to Sink EEOC Racial Harassment, Retaliation Suit

Tesla Inc., in seeking dismissal of an US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission suit, argued the federal agency filed a “fact-free complaint” after a failure of an investigation into allegedly widespread racial discrimination and abusive work environment.

Attorneys for the automaker Thursday urged a skeptical Judge Jacqueline Scott Corleywith the US District Court for the Northern District of California to grant its motions to dismiss or stay the EEOC suit while Tesla defends state discrimination lawsuits also alleging an atmosphere adequately pervasive to create a hostile work environment.
