Tesla $6 Million Solar Settlement Nets Lawyers $1.5 Million

A federal judge approved a $1.5 million attorneys’ fee award to three firms representing plaintiffs who alleged the company used bait-and-switch pricing tactics for solar roof tiles.

Edelson PC, Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy LLP, and Miller Law Firm PC will share the award that’s part of a $6.08 million settlement, which Judge Vince Chhabria of the US District Court for the Northern District of California granted final approval March 8.
