Subway Franchise Owner Settles Sex Harassment Suit for $150,000

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission resolved a lawsuit on behalf of a Utah-based Subway employee who claimed he was constructively discharged after reporting repeated sexual harassment.

The owner of the Subway store, Franchise Management LLC, is required to pay a $150,000 judgment that includes $50,000 in attorneys fees and costs, according to a Jan. 23 consent decree filed to the US District Court for the District of Utah.
