Six Flags Settles Online Tracker, Cookie Banner Complaint (1)

Six Flags Entertainment Corp. agreed to settle claims by a Los Angeles resident that it allowed third-party cookies to track her following a visit to a website it owns, even when she opted out of non-essential tracking.

The notice, filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California, said that plaintiff Miltita Casillas and Six Flags reached a settlement and are in the process of executing it. Casillas’ counsel—Pacific Trial Attorneys—declined to comment on the terms of the settlement.
