A federal court preliminarily approved a $15 million settlement from Elanco Animal Health Inc., Bayer Corp., and Bayer subsidiaries to resolve litigation alleging Seresto pet collars sickened dogs and cats, and caused some pet deaths.
Judge John Robert Blakely, of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, said that the court was likely to certify a nationwide settlement class of all consumers in the United States who bought a Seresto product up to 14 days before the end of the claims period.
