Safe Streets’ $1.27 Million Wage Deal Gets Court’s Last Approval

Safe Streets USA LLC’s now $1.27 million settlement with a worker who said the company failed to pay overtime and reimburse expenses received final approval from a federal judge after an initial denial.

The new deal allocates 75% of civil penalties under California’s Private Attorneys General Act to a state agency after initially failing to do so, the US District Court for the Eastern District of California held Tuesday.
