Roblox Succeeds in Bid to Send Kids’ Data Suit to Arbitrator

Parents alleging that Roblox Corp. collected their children’s data in violation of federal privacy law must take their claims before an arbitrator, a federal court ruled.

Roblox provided reasonably conspicuous notice of the arbitration agreement during the process for creation of user accounts, and the terms of the agreement weren’t substantively unconscionable, Judge Wesley L. Hsu of the US District Court for the Central District of California said Wednesday.
