Motive Technologies Inc.'s cyber insurers must cover its defense costs in a suit by a competing road safety technology company alleging patent infringement and trade secret theft, a Delaware state court ruled.
However, the insurers aren’t obligated to reimburse Motive for its legal bills in a counter-suit against Samsara Inc., the Delaware Superior Court said in an order unsealed Thursday.
