Raytheon, Ex-Worker Settle Bias Suit Over Paternity Leave

Raytheon Technologies Corp., Collins Aerospace, and a former employee have agreed to dismiss claims alleging the companies unlawfully terminated him six days before his paternity leave was scheduled to begin.

The parties filed a joint stipulation to dismiss the case with prejudice on August 22 in the US District Court for the Northern District of New York. Their move to dismiss follows plaintiff Cole Heinz notifying the court that the “material terms” of a settlement had been agreed to two weeks earlier.
