Raytheon Sued Over Workplace Bias After Man’s Termination

Raytheon Technologies Corp. and Collins Aerospace have been hit with an ex-employee’s federal lawsuit alleging violations of Title VII, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and New York law.

Cole Heinz says he properly notified the companies that he intended to take 12 weeks of paternity leave following the birth of his child. The complaint alleges that Heinz’s managers made disparaging comments about the length of his planned leave and hired another employee to take over his duties while he would be out.
