Postmates Gets Shot at Courier’s Misclassification Suit Stay (1)

Postmates Inc. on Monday got a partial win in a suit claiming the delivery platform misclassifies workers as independent contractors, getting it returned to the trial judge to determine whether a stay is appropriate.

The unpublished ruling comes a week after Postmates argued the case should be returned to the trial court and to an arbitrator to determine whether Barbara Decker has standing to represent workers.
