A consumer alleging Organifi LLC and its founder deceptively promoted “Green Juice” superfood products may pursue previously tossed claims based on health benefit statements, and may seek injunctive relief in his proposed class suit, a California federal court said.
Glenn Liou’s amended complaint corrected deficiencies that led to the earlier dismissal of those claims, Judge Cathy Ann Bencivengo of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California said Monday.
Liou alleges Organifi and founder Andrew Canole falsely touted Green Juice’s supposed weight loss, health management, heart health, and other benefits.
