Oracle Corp. has been hit with two new proposed class actions for not protecting sensitive personal data of its customers’ employees in a data breach.
The company specializing in cloud based data storage failed to properly address a data breach in a July cyberattack until October, one of the lawsuits says. As a result of the failed fix, more breaches occurred in August and September, one of the suits says.
Now, Oracle along with some of its corporate customers “have chosen a strategy of silence,” and refuse to comment on when breaches occurred, one of the suits says.
