Onion Newsletter Subscriber Withdraws Video Privacy Class Action

A subscriber to The Onion’s newsletter voluntarily dropped his Video Privacy Protection Act suit over the company’s use of the Meta Pixel on its website.

Judge Matthew F. Kennelly of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois approved the voluntary dismissal without prejudice Monday, allowing Daniel McRitchie to refile his proposed class action against Global Tetrahedron LLC again in the future.
