Nuance Communications’ $8.5 million settlement to resolve claims stemming from the 2023 MOVEit data breach was sufficiently fair for preliminary approval, a federal judge ruled

Nuance is a Microsoft Corp. subsidiary that provides clinical documentation services to healthcare professionals, and was one of many government agencies, financial institutions, universities, and businesses around the world that used MOVEit leading up to a cyberattack against Progress Software’s file transfer app.
